Missouri River Headwaters

Where the Jefferson & Madison rivers converge is the start of the Missouri
The Gallatin River joins the Jefferson & Madison rivers to form the Missouri
On the way back to Stevensville this afternoon Charles paid a visit to the Missouri River Headwaters State Park.  It was fun seeing the starting place of the longest river in the US!

This park is where Lewis and Clark stayed in 1805. This park encompasses the confluence of the Jefferson, Madison and Gallatin Rivers.
