More to see in Lander

Slough House - 1917

Lander Fur & Wool Co. - 1918

St. Matthew's Episcopal Church - 1909

Dickerson Livery Stable (reproduction - 2004)

Next door to the Fremont County Pioneer Museum was the Pioneer Village, a collection of buildings representing the history of Fremont County and early Lander.

Museum afternoon

As is his habit, Charles took advantage of some free time this afternoon to visit some museums in Lander. First up was the Fremont County Pioneer Museum. A well-done collection of the story of the area.

A nice morning in Wyoming

Charles took advantage of a quiet morning in Lander, Wyoming to get in a round of golf, his first since early August at the Lander Golf Course!

On the road to Lander

Charles made the long (and somewhat tedious) drive from Boulder, Colorado to Lander, Wyoming this afternoon ahead of tomorrow's start of the Mountain Sky Conference clergy orders retreat. Thanks to our family tradition, Charles didn't make the trip alone!

After getting to our hotel, we logged onto Zoom and hosted our church's trustees meeting!!

A rose in the lilac bush

Our mystery rose has made its annual appearance. There is a single stalk that grows up through the lilac bush and is a delightful burst of pink in the deep green foliage.

Today's United Women in Faith Program at Boulder's Mountain View UMC

Belinda gave the program at today's meeting. She led the group through an exercise that was featured in this past summer's virtual Mission u: "Bearing Witness in the Kin-dom" (session 2). The challenge was to formulate one's statement of faith/faith journey in six words (or fewer). Belinda currently serves as the Mountain Sky Conference (MSC)  Assistant Dean of the MSC Cooperative Mission.

A cat's life

Wesley takes his job of being a professional house cat very seriously, being sure of course to take plenty of cat naps throughout the day.

Parking fun

We helped out tonight at the Wesley Foundation, helping to park cars for the CU - TCU football game. It was fun hanging out with a nice group and seeing the energetic fans from both teams gathering for the pre-game parties.
