We've voted!

We took part in the civic celebration that is voting this morning, dropping off the ballots for both of us.

This afternoon, we got emails: "Boulder County Elections received your 2023 Coordinated Election mail ballot. You will receive another email when your signature has been reviewed."

Showing up at Sew What

Belinda hosted the October gathering of "Sew What," the coming together of folk from our church to do fabric-related projects. Belinda was this months hostess and enjoyed the fellowship and coloring with another participant.

Church chore

Charles took advantage of the nice weather this afternoon to tend to a project he'd been meaning to do for awhile now. Using the edger and a shovel, he edged the sidewalk around the church, and the result looks terrific!

An afternoon of golf

It's been a while!
Perfect afternoon

Hitting from the coal car tees

Charles took advantage of a delightful aumtumn afternoon to play his first round of golf since late August at Coal Creek Golf Course in Superior. He hadn't played there since before the Marshall Fire. His score was much to talk about but it was still fum to be out on the links.

Welcome, neighbors

Sammy enjoys the festivities

Lively music!

Donating to a worthy organization

Balloons!

We joined with the community in welcoming the grand opening of Haven Ridge, located in the former Mary Sandoe House (located behind St. Paul's UMC). We enjoyed getting to know some of the staff and hear about the amazing work they do in our area.

On the road in Wyoming

Kathryn Witte, Belinda, and Su DeBree

The Hall Ranch awaits

A productive day in the books

Belinda went north to Buffalo, Wyoming this week to take part in a planning retreat for the virtual Mission u that will be held in February. Along with Kathryn Witte (who we knew in the Nebraska Conference) and retired pastor, Rev. Su DeBree, so much was accomplished in their time at the Hall Ranch.
