Our holidays got off in grand fashion with decorating the parsonage for the holidays.

The "big snow" left a heavy white cover on the residents of Gillaspie Drive. Charles joined the throngs of folk digging out ahead of the Thanksgiving festivities.

Snowy day fun

The snow started falling yesterday afternoon just before two and continued until just after noon today. When all was said and done  we started digging out from the 20" that had fallen! 

We had fun setting up the Christmas tree in the front room. We do this before the decorating happens to give Wesley time to get used to having a tree inside! Later, we spent some time working on some ornaments that will be given to church members on Sunday!

Happy anniversary to us!

We enjoyed our 22nd anniversary with a bit of flare: the purchase of new tires for both vehicles! While we were waiting, we enjoyed a nice lunch at a nice Mexican restaurant.

Opening night

The formal opening of the Boulder Artists Association 2019 Exhibit was held tonight at the R Gallery in Boulder. Charles was on hand and had a great time!

The Boulder Artists Association launched its 2019 Members Exhibit today at the R Gallery in Boulder. Charles has a piece in it, his first in a gallery here in Colorado!

A restful day on Gillaspie Drive

With some church activities in the morning, we got home in time to join the rest of the family in enjoying a beautiful November afternoon.

Today in San Antonio

Great time today at Cappy’s in San Antonio, Texas — Ladies luncheon to remember my sweet mama, who loved working with them at The Sisters of Charity of The Incarnate Word! 

(Cappy's chicken salad with fruit and mango salad is always fabulous !)

Fun in Texas

Belinda has been om Texas this week, visiting friends and seeing familiar haunts! 

A special part of this trip has been several days with her dear friend from high school, Nancy Harrell. Today was a real treat, a visit to Magnolia Table!

Art in Denver

Charles went with a group from the Boulder Artists Association to the Denver Art Museum for a guided tour of a really nice exhibit of works by Claude Monet.

Charles' first exhibit in Boulder opened tonight at Café Aion where four of his paintings joined works from five other artists in a nice space. The exhibit will be on display through January 6.

Charles is in Colorado Springs again this week for the Center for Pastoral Effectiveness of the Rockies. It is a nice getaway and a good program to-boot!

Birthday fun!

We had a nice time tonight with a birthday celebration for Belinda with her brother Rob & family. It was nice to get together at Carelli's!

Fun time in Longmont

We took advantage of the nice weather today and went to the holiday fair at Heart of Longmont UMC. A real treat was the "cookie by the pound" area!
