Small things

We spotted something different today, some small, orange mushrooms! Seen at the parsonage, this was a nice reminder that there are surprises awaiting if we just look!

Charles took this week off and we stayed home, shoveling snow (three times) and tending to some of the other tasks in the home. When he wasn't shoveling snow, Charles could be seen in his studio, working on a series for an upcoming show as well as several smaller pieces just for fun!

Valentines Day in Boulder

The view from NCAR
The view from the studio
Our first Valentines Day in Boulder was bright and a bit warm (55)! We enjoyed a nice lunch in Louisville and then made a drive up to National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) for a beautiful view of the Flatiron Mountains and Boulder. NCAR lies just above our neighborhood and watches over the Boulder Valley.
