Another fun UMW gathering

Belinda attended the annual "Cowboy/girl-up for Mission" brunch at the church this morning.  There are some mighty fine cooks in our community!!!

Chilly Sunday

Belinda's class meets each Sunday morning
Testing out the new Foosball table!
The snow that arrived yesterday is mostly gone this morning but the chilly temps are a reminder that winter isn't over yet.

After worship Charles helped inaugurate the Foosball table we got yesterday at the silent auction (at the fund raiser event).  We know that this will be getting a lot of use and not just by the kids!

The week coming to a close

The next ceramics project
Charles' first effort on the wheel
Games night!
First snow in a long time!
Benefit gathering at the church
Charles had his first effort on the wheel this week in his ceramics class.  A lot to learn about making things on the wheel but the first effort looks promising.

We had a surprise this morning when we discovered snow had fallen during the night!  Not a lot to get excited about but it was the first snow we've had in quite awhile.

Much of our Saturday was spent supporting a benefit being hosted at the church.  A local resident is facing some large medical bills and the community is showing its support for this family.

First Ceramic project done!

On Tuesday, Charles and his project partner, Mikayla, finished their project.  Their project, a "basket sponge," came out very well and it got good reviews in the class critique.

Nice weekend in the books

Decorating for the dinner

The happy couple
Preaching this morning
We had a full weekend here in the Bitterroot Valley!

Yesterday was primarily spent dealing with the Valentine's dinner at the church. After the men's group's breakfast we helped decorate the fellowship fall for the dinner.  Forty-four were there and the atmosphere was delightful.

Church activities this morning kept us moving and the afternoon rest was very much appreciated!

Where has the week gone?

Nearing completion!
Resident herd just north of Stevensville
What a week we've had!  Life has been a whirl of church, school, and work activities and when we have an opportunity, time together with Wesley!

Zoo Montana

Zoo Montana - Billings
Grizzlies sharing a Sunday afternoon
Big Horn Sheep @ the zoo
Reminders of a by-gone time
Bald Eagle sing-a-long
Before setting out from Billings this afternoon Charles made a quick stop at Zoo Montana.  This is a small zoo but has a lot of potential as the year's progress.

The week's wrap-up

Ceramics project is taking shape on Thursday
Site of the winter Mission u in Billings
Worship for Charles on Sunday
Scouting Sunday @ Stevensville UMC
We've had a very busy week (no surprise there!) and now to catch our breath before launching into another active week in the Bitterroot Valley!!!

In addition to our regular church activities, work, and school, we added on a couple extra events.  Charles went to Billings on Thursday to be one of the presenters at the winter session of Mission u.  It was a wonderful experience and it was great for Charles to be able to take part.

Belinda was a whirl of activity while Charles was away, going to Missoula for a whoosh of shopping for items needed for next weekend's Valentine's dinner at the church.

Another week underway

Wesley eases into the week

Our week has had a pleasant start with our regular work, school, and church activities.

At school, Charles and his work partner, Mikayla, added another foot to their ceramic project and hope to hit the four foot mark on Thursday

A full weekend!

UMW meeting in Missoula
Belinda helps with the children's message this morning.
Resting up after the weekend
With the first week of classes and work behind us we entered the weekend with still more to be done!

On Saturday, Belinda joined other officers of the United Methodist Women from the Western Mountains District (Yellowstone Conference) for a planning meeting in Missoula.  Lots of energy from that group!

Charles stayed home on Saturday and got through 120+ pages of 20th century art history.  Learning about Cubism and Fauvism takes a lot of effort!!!

Today of course was our Sunday morning flurry of activity.  Charles is at the church before 6 am and after lunch with a group from the church we got home just after 2 pm.
