#UMarts matter!

The day's theme
The band announces its presence
University president speaks to the crowd
Making music in front of the admin building
Dance troupe moves the crowd
Charles took time on a chilly Friday afternoon to join a large crowd turning out in support of the programs offered by the College of Visual and Performing Arts. University budget cuts are looming over many departments and hearing from the wide-range of student offerings was an important statement to the university community.

A nice day for a walk

Charles took advantage of his day off to run some errands in "the city" following a round at the Linda Vista golf course. It was a lovely, late summer day with hints of autumn all around the course!

Giving to the community

Charles took part in a fun activity today, helping to make bowls for a fundraiser that addresses hunger needs in our area. While most involved today were 'throwing' clay on the wheel, Charles and another artist were hand-building "bowls" using slabs of clay.

We were at Blacksmith Brewery on Main St. this evening for the First Friday events that happen each month in Stevensville. Charles' art was getting a lot of attention from the thirsty patrons!

Following a stop at a community fundraising event at the Catholic Church, it was back home in time for a visit from the raccoons!
