Charles has begun work on his nine canvases that will make up the "Pelléas et Mélisande Suite." The series will be on display beginning in April at First Bank in Boulder.

A busy week for Belinda

Belinda had a busy week in preparing for, and attending, the leadership meeting of the Mountain Sky Conference UMW held in Denver.

Geese galore!

One nice aspect of living on the Front Range is the abundance of geese that make this relatively mild place their winter home. There is a large flock that makes the nearby pond and surrounding fields their hangout, much to Wesley's enjoyment!

Getting a job done!

Belinda is the Conference UMW's Spiritual Growth Coordinator and as such has a lot of material to call upon in her planning. This week she was given a slew of boxes filled with all manner of items that have been used in the past. Getting everything sorted and repacked was a chore but will be well worth it down the road!

Tonight's opening

Charles has a painting, En Saga (A Fairy Tale), included in the new show at Café Aion. We went this evening to enjoy the opening and sample some of the Cafe`'s fare.

Tonight in the studio

Wesley and Charles spent some quality time in the studio this evening. Charles touched up a white painting he's been working on an whipped up a batch of ornaments with the colors of the University of Colorado and Colorado State U.

Happy New Year!

We got our New Year started off on a colorful note, taking in the Tournament of Roses Parade on tv and via live stream on the computer. We attended the parade in 2004, just before we went to Cornwall.
