Charles worked on three pieces, two for the upcoming Avalon Art Event and the bottom painting for the Boulder Art Association's July member's show.

Wedding day

We spent time this weekend at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder where Charles was officiating at his first Colorado wedding!

A backyard surprise

We had a surprise visitor in the parsonage backyard this morning, a coyote taking some time to rest from its activities. The Next Door website frequently has posts about sightings of bear, bob cats, and mountain lions in our neighborhood, but this is the first time we've seen anything bigger than a raccoon!

Current project at the church

Charles has taken advantage of the nice weather to tackle another big project at the church! What began with a painting of the front doors expanded into a fresh look on the posts/beams that make up the front entrance.

This will entail getting some assistance with the upper reaches of the entryway, but the new look is already getting favorable reviews!!

Art on the move

One of Charles' art pieces is now enjoying its third location as part of an installation by the Boulder Art Association's BAA show. The herd began life at the Museum of Boulder, meandered down the street to the R Gallery, and is now installed at Ramble on Pearl (all in Boulder). Charles' piece is featured in the front window for all the world to see!

A great book club!

Belinda is grateful for the fun and fabulous "Just Incredible" Zoom book club gathering she took part in this morning, discussing I Capture the Castle, by Dodie Smith! She loves her P.E.O. Chapter JI's book club!!!

We're blooming!

The Chokecherry tree in our backyard is a beautiful sight this weekend as the blossoms, which were absent last year due to a late snow, are out in abundance on an 82° day!!!
