Connecting with old friends

Charles made the drive south today to Fountain, near Colorado Springs, to lead the remembrance service of the father of friends from our time in Sidney, Nebraska. It was nice, all the same, to reconnect to these wonderful folk!

Expanding our horizons

We're in the last bit of summer here in Boulder and we are enjoying the pace of life here! 

We've been able to enjoy the evenings on the patio, sharing the beautiful nights with the backyard bunnies. Charles has been able to get some studio time in and together we have begun to take part in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute program!

Saturday in Boulder

Nice day in Boulder! We watched a bit of  a regional bike racing event at the nearby park, navigated the pregame traffic for the Colorado-Nebraska football game on our way to the Boulder Farmers Market, lunch at Sforno, and a stroll along the Pearl Street Mall.

Simple things

Charles went for a walk around the neighborhood this morning and spotted this  bee hard at work.

 We broke down today and bought pots/pans for the parsaonge! Now what to do with them?

Happy Labor Day

Labor Day was a blistering one here in Colorado and with its passing, we marked the beginning of our third month here in Boulder!
