Two more for Saturday

"A cat's pride"

"Piet Mondrian meets Gilbert Baker"

Charles worked on a couple new pieces with a Pride theme for this weekend's event at the Avalon here in Boulder.

A busy Zoom day

Belinda was involved in a day-long P.E.O. event today. Belinda was taking part as the president of her local chapter.

Online clergy session

Charles took part in the annual session of the clergy from the Mountain Sky Conference today via Zoom. There were lots of votes to be taken and it was a pleasure to do it this way (our second year doing so!).

Overtime in the studio

Jääkärimarssi (Jäger March)

 Kullervo's Wehruf (Kullervo's Lament)

Hennes budskap (Her message)

Hertig Magnus (Duke Magnus)

Charles has been working in the studio, preparing some extra pieces for next week's Avalon Art Event here in Boulder. The titles for these four come from compositions by Finnish composer, Jean Sibelius.

This week's output

"Just five colors, please"

"Pride swirls around us"

"If Pride were a color"

Charles worked on three pieces, two for the upcoming Avalon Art Event and the bottom painting for the Boulder Art Association's July member's show.

Wedding day

We spent time this weekend at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder where Charles was officiating at his first Colorado wedding!

A backyard surprise

We had a surprise visitor in the parsonage backyard this morning, a coyote taking some time to rest from its activities. The Next Door website frequently has posts about sightings of bear, bob cats, and mountain lions in our neighborhood, but this is the first time we've seen anything bigger than a raccoon!
