Autumn on Gillaspie Drive

The season is bringing bursts of color along with cooler weather to our neighborhood. We are enjoying the rustle of the leaves and the time we are able to spend outdoors with our tea.

Belinda concluded her two year term as Spiritual Growth Coordinator for the United Methodist Women (UMW) in the Mountain Sky Conference today following the annual Conference UMW meeeting. It has been a LOT of work that Belinda is happy to be able to pass along to the new person. Next up for Belinda is serving as the assistant dean of Mission u, a program of UMW.

After more than two years here in Boulder, Charles officiated his first funeral today (he has another this coming Monday).

Charles made his weekly round of golf this morning at the Twin Peaks Golf Course in Longmont. This is a plesant place to get in some play on a decent public course with nice views of the Front Range. A respectable (for him) score of 97 made the drive worth it!

More backyard art

We got some packages this week that had paper wadding that was too good not to use in some manner. And so Charles took it to the backyard, and using spraypaint, created a unique moveable piece of art!

We had a backyard visit with our northside neighbors and Olivia created a work of art on the spot which she gave to us!

On display in Boulder

Charles dropped off one of his paintings to R Gallery in downtown Boulder today ahead of the upcoming Vibrant & Bold exhbition.
