AC 2021

For the second year in a row, we are attending the Mountain Sky Annual Conference via Zoom. We like being able to save a LOT of money and time by staying close to our computers and not having to make the effort to get to a physical location. This year, the conference would have been held in Ogden, Utah.

The days are full!

It's a busy week in the Alkula home with plenty to keep us occupied! Belinda has been working double-time to make the JI chapter of P.E.O. run smoothly and finishing up some UMW work from her tenure as the Spiritual Growth Coordinator for the Conference.

Charles has been working on getting the church reports in for the upcoming Church Conference, it always takes longer than he wants it to! Charles took advantage of a day off today ahead of the Mountain Sky Annual Conference (starting tomorrow) to brave the traffic around Denver and drove to Aurora for a round of golf!

The days are growing cooler

The days are growing shorter and the nights, cooler, at the parsonage. Wesley has been a big help, monitoring the goings-on in the neighborhood!

Easing into the weekend

Wesley does his best to set the example at the parsonage with plenty of naps throughout the day, ensuring that there will be enough energy for the weekend!

P.E.O. time

Belinda is active in her local P.E.O. unit, Chapter JI, as its president, and loves taking part in chapter activities including quarterly check-ins!

Charles ventured east this morning to Erie, home of the Colorado National Golf Course. The weather was decidedly colder than his last outing, 36° at 9 AM!!! Playing with three of the club's members, he shot a very respectable 93.
