Pentecost Sunday

Rainy afternoon over the Bitterroot Mountains
Belinda and Cammie Edgar
Mitch's big day
Charles spends time with Ellen after worship
Belinda gets her turn with Ellen
What a full day!  Our church certainly keeps us busy and this morning was no exception!!

With Charles leading a study group before worship and Belinda assisting with prep for the after-worship fellowship time, there was a lot of activity going on.

This afternoon, we joined a lot of folk from the Stevi church at the Edgar home south of Florence to celebrate the high school graduation of Mitch. The whole family is very involved in the life of the congregation and it was nice to be able to share this special day with them.

Late spring blossoms

We spent a considerable amount of energy, time, and effort in house cleaning today! Whew! It looks so simple when all is said and done.

Taking out the trash was made more enjoyable with the late spring blossoms in our back yard.

Cats on College

Patch intently watches for his chance
"Maybe they won't see me down here."
Monty has his spot reserved
Wesley continues to recover from Tuesday's event
The life of cats is certainly not for the feint of heart!

Patch is alert for opportunities to display his prowess, hunting this afternoon under the bird feeders. He has taken the raiding of the food bowl by the Magpies, raccoons, and other cats (especially BB) in stride.

Wesley and Monty have entered another lull in their relationship and focusing their energies on their role as professional house cats!

Wesley's adventure

Responding to the basement door being opened
Enough adventure for one day!
Wesley pulled a Houdini this morning, escaping the parsonage for a bit of a romp in the great outdoors. Coaxing him back inside took some doing, but in the end it was done and then he hunkered down in the basement while Charles was in the studio.

Productive use of time and space!

Working on "The Geisha of Miyajima"
Charles has been spending time each day in his basement studio reworking paintings and drawings (he'd done previously in class) using techniques he has learned since he started at the University of Montana.

We're walking!

Belinda encourages Pam in her task
We've started walking together each evening and have already begun to appreciate the time we are spending together and the anticipated benefits to come!

Spring Saturday at the market

Happy to be here!
Chatting with the folk at Red Rooster
Enjoying music at the Ravalli County Museum
Something for everyone at the market
A favorite stop at the Stevi market
A delightful 'stay-cation' was ours today as we took in the farmer's markets in Hamilton and Stevensville. What a treat it is to be able to have such creative people so close to us!
