Charles is ready!

It took some effort, but Charles' office at the church is all set-up! We removed the old computer workstation, removed the garage-style shelves, patched and painted the walls, and now, viola!

Making headway

It was a very full day for us as the effort to unpack and begin our life in Boulder continued. Belinda was hard at work unpacking more boxes and Charles spent the morning working on the front "yard." Belinda's brother, Rob, came to help us this afternoon with the loading and moving of book cases for Charles' office.

Clearing the deck

By Tuesday, Charles had gathered quite a mound of debris left over by the previous occupant. We had help from church members on Wednesday and Thursday in learning how to recycle, Boulder-style.

Home at last

We set foot in the house Sunday evening for the first time and got the lay of the and before the movers arrived Monday morning. We're slow to unpack and make sense of our new surroundings!

Boulder at last

After a long day of driving we arrived at last in Boulder, our new home! A treat today was a stop at the famous Chugwater Soda Fountain for a light lunch and a tasty treat!

We unloaded the U-Haul trailer and removed some items left in the parsonage before retiring to a hotel for a badly needed night's rest.

Our second day of The Move saw us depart Butte, rested, and ready for the drive into Wyoming. We passed through Billings and then turned south, ending up in Buffalo, Wyoming. One more night on the road and then we'll arrive in our new home in Boulder, Colorado!

A late night / early morning frenzy of packing the kitchen ended just fifteen minutes before the moving truck arrived! We made several trips with extra items for the church yard sale, dropped off the church keys, and then it was time to say good bye to our home of the last six years and hit the road to Boulder.

Our journey started off by slogging through Missoula traffic and with a restful meal at Cracker Barrel. Then it was time to head east, stopping for the night in Butte. Tomorrow we continue our journey to Billings before heading south into Wyoming.
