Our week took a twist when a call from a church member led us to offer Charles' services as a dog-sitter!  Belinda and Wesley meanwhile kept the home-fires burning as Christmas approached.

Charles Celebrates Communion

We've had a busy couple of weeks with lots of church activity among other events to fill up our days. 

Advent is underway

 We enjoyed celebrating the start of the season of Advent with the church family this weekend! On Saturday, we helped with the decorating of the church which was so much fun. On Sunday, we saw the festive season get underway with a wonderful worship service!

Thanks to Kristen Davis for the amazing contribution that came in today's mail: 164 buttons!!! She moved up four spots on the all-time donor list and into the top 10.

A snowy weekend

Wesley found a place to hunker down as Charles prepared to shovel the 3.5” of fresh snow from yesterday/today. The snow started late Thursday evening and was off-and-on through Friday into Saturday morning. It was downright cold, about 14F on Saturday, a far cry from Wednesday's mid-50s!
