Easter in McCamey & Iraan

A blessed Easter to one and all! Our Easter began in the dark on a hillside overlooking Iraan where Charles had been invited to preach at the community Easter sunrise service. We were fortunate that the weather was so nice this morning, it was much warmer than expected and the there was little wind for a change.

Following that service, we joined everyone at the First Baptist Church (in Iraan) for a breakfast buffet. There are some mighty fine cooks at the First Baptist Church let me tell you! One of our members, Deanna Jordan, contributed to the effort with an edible floral arrangement (using fruit)!

We followed breakfast with fellowship and worship in Iraan and then in McCamey. We caught our breath long enough to enjoy lunch with several members of the First UMC (McCamey). Then it was off to the McCamey Convalescent Center for the fourth worship service of the day!

We are resting up tonight, who knows what the week ahead will bring!!!
