Corpus Christi on Wednesday

We had a very full day in Corpus Christi! This morning, we walked to the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History (www.ccmuseum.com) and saw the Santa Maria and the Nina, two of the ships built for the 500th anniversary of the sailing of Columbus. The third ship, the Pinta, is located in the marina just down the street from our hotel.

In the afternoon, we began attending the sessions of the annual conference - lots to take in, we'll keep posting to the church web sites the sights and sounds of the conference. This evening, as we were leaving the convention center (following the memorial service), we spotted the USS Lexington illuminated in its "dress blue" lights. Really a special thing to witness.
