There has been some much-needed work being done to the parsonage in the past couple of weeks. The wood-work outside was replaced and new wood put up and painted; two of the gates to the backyard were taken out and replaced; the bathrooms had the old tattered wallpaper taken down and the walls painted; and yesterday the roofers came and began the job of taking off the 21 year-old tiles and putting a new roof on.
Church work continues as well, Charles was very busy on Sunday with two services in the morning, the convalescent center in the afternoon, and a 9/11 remembrance service in the evening. Yesterday, Charles gave the program to the McCamey UMW gathering.
Belinda in the meanwhile remains in San Angelo visiting her mother, Sheila at Rio Concho West. They are doing a lot of fun things including beading, shopping and of course, Scrabble!
