We enjoyed a proper rest this morning, enjoying the first day of 2013 in the warm embrace of our home on Toscana Isle.
After taking in the Rose Parade (could it really be eight years since we were in Pasedena, CA?!) we set out for a visit to the San Antonio Zoo.
We had a fun afternoon, too chilly to ride the train around the park, but plenty warm enough to enjoy being outdoors. The highlight for Charles was feeding the Lorys!
A late lunch at a nearby Jim's restaurant (a fond memory from Belinda's school days in San Antonio) and it was back home.
