Charles went to Helena after class on Thursday to attend a workshop and a lecture series.  The day started with a workshop at Covenant UMC and dealt with how to go about creating an open and welcoming faith community.  

This evening, he attended the first of three presentations at St. Paul UMC by Dr. Dianna Eck (a native Montanan and a United Methodist) who is a professor at Harvard University.  The topic is "Tempest Tossed: The World of Religious Pluralism - Global, Local & Personal."
