We took advantage of the cultural offerings here in Boulder to take in a fun performance this afternoon at the West Boulder Senior Center. After a nice lunch at the Eat Well Cafe' (in the senior center), we enjoyed a performance by members of the Legendary Ladies, a troupe that offers portrayals of women from history of the west.
Today, we heard from Prairie Rose Henderson (a rodeo star), Olga Little (a mining outfitter), Dr. "Doc" Susie (an early western female doctor), and Isabella Bird (English Victorian-era traveler).
