We are safely arrived in Powell, Ohio having driven here from Minnesota over the past two days. Other than today's steady rain that hung over us all the way from Chicago the trip was uneventful.
We had the chance to stop at a Toyota dealership in Hammon, Indiana this afternoon to have some warning lights looked at. The folks there were so wonderful to us, took care of the minor problem, washed the car, and put us back on the road without a charge! If you are in Hammond, Indiana be sure to look them up!
We are staying with Kirk and Lorri Noce here in Powell (just north of Columbus). Kirk was Charles' commanding officer for part of the time we were in England. Kirk is now in charge of the Navy ROTC unit at Ohio State University (OSU) and Lorri works at the Veterinary School at OSU.
Tomorrow, we have an appointment in Columbus about the possibility of ministry here in Ohio, stay tuned! On Saturday, we'll be traveling up to Ohio's northeast corner to visit some of Charles' relatives before returning to Minnesota early next week.
