After a very busy week, we were able to enjoy a much-needed rest on Saturday. Charles did go over to the church in McCamey very early (before 7 am), just in case not everyone got the word about the rescheduling of the United Methodist Men's breakfast. He did get in some quiet time in the pastor's study, so getting up that early on a Saturday wasn't wasted!
Belinda did a lot of housework today, catching up on all the little things that need tending on the homefront. After tending to the lawn this afternoon, we set out to experience our first auction in McCamey. The local government entities brought all manner of items to be sold at auction, and though we didn't buy anything, we did enjoy being "out and about" in the community.
