What a lovely day we had here in west Texas today! As the quilt banner at the Iraan FUMC states: "It IS better to give ... than to receive!" Today we had the blessing of being involved in three worship services (in Iraan and McCamey).

At the Iraan church, dear Mr. Burton Lanehart presented attending church member families with special white wooden crosses that he made for their front lawns, to serve as a witness to the world.

At both churches, the fellowship taking place is such a priceless gift. And at the nearby convalescent center (CC), being with the residents there is also a priceless gift. (The staff of the CC have done a great job "decking the halls" and decorating for the holidays. Everything is so bright and festive!)

Today was a communion Sunday... when we celebrated with one another... A TRULY PRICELESS GIFT.
