From Bozeman to Helena

Early morning scene in Bozeman
Yup, right here in Montana!
On the road in Townsend

Making friends in Helena
The snowfall yesterday left a pretty sight in Bozeman this morning, as Charles prepared to conclude his time at the clergy gathering.  Other than a few broken branches, courtesy of the heavy, wet snow, the snow didn't cause any problems in Bozeman or on his drive to Helena.

Before leaving Bozeman, Charles took in the Museum of the Rockies (on the campus of Montana State University).  This is a very nice museum which focuses much of the exhibit space to archeology and paleontology.

Making his way west, Charles stopped in Three Forks at the Wheat Montana bakery to pick up some of the wonderful bread they make there!  Then it was back on the road to Helena, where he'll attend lectures at St. Paul's UMC given by Marcus Borg.  The theme:  Being Christian in the 21st Century.

With some extra time, Charles took in the Montana Museum, located across the street from the state capitol building.  It is a very nice place -- with lots of information about the history of the Treasure State!
