Charles' Week in Review

On Charles' way to San Antonio last week, he stopped by for a quick stop in Ozona. He wanted to see the monument in honor of Davy Crockett (Ozona is in Crockett County) and the historical museum in the old Methodist Episcopal Church building.

Charles was in San Antonio (at the Oblate Renewal Center) for week two of the Two-year Academy for Spiritual Formation. The presenters were really good, and the weather was perfect for Texas.

On his way back to McCamey, Charles stopped for lunch at the Cracker Barrel in Kerrville. Bill & Bobbie Lester had given him a gift card so Charles could enjoy it on his journey back and forth to McCamey. It was such a nice treat -- too bad Belinda couldn't have been there to enjoy it too! (Maybe next time...)

Charles spent much of today getting caught up on tasks in the church office. Bobbie & Bill have been looking out for Charles today, inviting him to their home for lunch for some home-made stew and then bringing Schlotzky's from their trip to Odessa. Praise God for this great day!
