Dr. Maggie Rogers visited us in McCamey today. She visits area churches and tells folks about all the great ministries happening at the Methodist Children's Home in Waco. She spoke with the folks attending today's "Badgers for Christ" lunch gathering about dealing with failure and doing your best. It was wonderful to see her again. Her last visit was the February 17th Badgers for Christ lunch gathering. ------------------------
She made Charles' day when she presented him with more buttons for his button collection (which is hovering around the 6,800 mark). It is always a joy to have the chance to visit with her!

Tonight's choir practice and bell-choir practice were wonderful (as always)! Be sure to plan on attending this Sunday's Community Thanksgiving Service at the First UMC, beginning at 6:00 p.m. It will be a great time of worship! It's the best way to kick off the holiday season! All are welcome!
