Belinda's mother and their dear friend Saundra enjoyed another fun day in San Angelo today. They visited West End Collectibles, a great place to discover one-of-a-kind treasures/antiques. They found a wonderful wooden statue of St. Francis of Assisi, which they presented to Saundra just before she departed this afternoon. While at West End Collectibles, they saw a terrific idea about supporting the local adult literacy program in town. (See poster above!) Then they dashed downtown, where Saundra treated them to a delicious lunch at the Mesquite Bean Cafe in the historic Cactus Hotel. Afterwards, they toured the hotel, which is the tallest structure in San Angelo. Thanks to the kindness of a hotel employee, they were allowed to tour the top floor and to take a fabulous photograph of the downtown area below. Praise be to God for a lovely day in San Angelo!!!
