While Charles tended to the homefront today, Belinda accompanied Bobbie and Bill Lester on a trip to Mason, where they attended the funeral of Edna Earl Benton, sister of our beloved Theodora Matthews of McCamey.
Their travels took them through London (Texas, that is)... "pip, pip!"
They enjoyed spending time with Theodora and some of her family and friends before the service at a local restaurant. The service for her sister was wonderful. Belinda enjoyed getting to know about Edna Earl Benton through the sharing of fond memories of her families and friends. God's love shined through her. Thanks be to God for the gift of this fine lady to all who knew her!!!
On the way home, we stopped by for a quick visit with Bill's brother who lives in Eldorado. Belinda really enjoyed the warm hospitality that he extended to them, which included the offering of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies!
All in all, today's road trip was a very good day!
