We had a wonderful day yesterday, Belinda spent the afternoon cooking Cincinnati Chili for us to enjoy this weekend [in honor of Charles' birthday on Tuesday]. Nothing quite says Christmas for us like the aroma of chili on the stove!
After supper, we headed downtown to enjoy the lights on the River Walk along the San Antonio River. According to the tour guide we enjoyed while taking in the sights from one of the 'river boats,' was that there are 1.8 million colored lights draped from the trees.
The pictures we took hardly do justice to the sights and sounds of San Antonio as enjoyed on the river! A special part of our time was hearing the barges full of carolers, it sure adds to the festive atmosphere!
