Charles went to San Antonio's southside this afternoon for a special concert at Mission Nuestra Señora de la Purisima Concepción de Acuña (better known now as Mission Concepción), one of the five historic Spanish colonial missions in this area.
Los Inocentes, a trio of guitarists, offered a free concert, an "Aguinaldos," or Christmas songs, in the Mission Concepción. This church, built in the mid-1700's, is an active congregation, and hearing traditional Christmas music in a space such as this was really special.
