Tonight was a unique experience for us as Charles joined his classmates at UMT for an exhibition of work done in three beginning studio art classes.  The event took place at Frontier Space in Missoula, a unique venue for art is 'zootown!   Charles took Drawing and 2-D (painting) and in both classes was in a group tasked with preparing a project for the show.

In the drawing class, the theme for the groups was "place" and Charles' group selected the Grizzly statue on the University oval. Each of the group members used a different medium to depict a quarter of the scene.  Turned out pretty nice!

In the painting class, the theme was technology and communication. The group struggled with coming up with a common theme and ended up with that being the theme the group went with!
