Our vacation got underway this afternoon with a stop at Cracker Barrel for lunch! A beautiful drive north through the Mission Valley took us out of the smoke we've had in the Bitterroot Valley (after a long, long time!). A breath-taking view awaited us as we drove around the east side of Flathead Lake.
We stopped to enjoy the view from the patio at The Raven Grill (in Gardiner) was a real treat! Charles really enjoyed the micro-brewery fare while watching a black lab playing in the water below us.
