What a beautiful day this turned out to be in Minnesota! We set out mid-morning for Grand Rapids to visit the Forest History Center and really had a great experience. This living museum includes a recreated logging camp (set in 1900) and guides who really know their stuff!
Later in the afternoon, it was back to Aitkin to attend the Aitkin UMC's United Methodist Women's Fall General Meeting.
After a wonderful homecooked meal, it was time to gather in the sanctuary where Dr. Joe & Cindy Walz gave a presentation about the work being done at the Kambi Primary School in Kenya.
