Belinda oversaw the completion of another milestone at the wellness center today when the center's new memorial fountain was completed. The fountain was funded by donations from Mark Shipman (in honor of his parents) and Bobbie and Bill Lester (in honor of their children). The Lesters were on hand to witness the fountain's inaugural launch.
Also happening at the wellness center this afternoon was a visit by Richard Hudson, the chief of staff for Congressman K. Michael Conaway, and Evan Thomas, the Congressman's district representative. They were there to tour the wellness center. They were very impressed that citizens in area towns can benefit from participation in a place like the wellness center. It is nice to know that McCamey is being noticed like this!
