Bishop Jim Dorff (the SWTX bishop) welcomed us to the 2010 Bishop's Convocation at Mt. Wesley, and introduced us to Bishop Robert Hayes, bishop of the Oklahoma Conference. Bishop Hayes preached a lively sermon in the afternoon's worship service.
In the afternoon, the Rev. John Thornburg led us in the "Big Sing." We were introduced to a variety of songs and tunes, some of which will be showing up in some of the local churches in months to come. Praise God for these powerful witnesses of the faith and their willingness to share with us!!!
