Happy St. Patrick's Day from McCamey, Texas! We hope you had a great one, wherever you happen to be today!!!
We had an appointment in Fort Stockton this morning and enjoyed the scenic drive there and back. In Fort Stockton, we had time to check out the Annie Riggs Memorial Museum (set in a former historic hotel) which offers a fascinating look at the history of the town. On our way back to McCamey, we spotted a road runner crossing the road in front of us: really cool! Our neighbors, Jug and Sylvia, have their grandchildren visiting. This afternoon, we got to enjoy the sight of them riding the family horse in the field behind the parsonage.
