We were returning home to McCamey today, after a quick trip to visit Belinda's mama in San Angelo, when we made an impromptu phone call to the Rev. Jennifer Kelly to see if she was available to meet for lunch in Rankin. Pastor Kelly serves as the pastor of the Rankin United Methodist Church. It was the first time for us to meet; and yet, it seemed like we were old friends. We could really feel God's Spirit's amongst us. Praise be to God for such wonderful fellowship!!!
This afternoon when we got home, there was a bird-fest in our backyard. It is such a treat to be able to gaze out the kitchen window and see nature at work and play. This evening, Belinda attended the weekly McCamey FUMC choir rehearsal. The birds outdoors have real competition from this group!!!
