On perhaps the last "cool" day before the weekend heat wave (101F on Sunday), Charles had kept busy,day tending to community events and ministries here in McCamey including the National Day of Prayer activity in McCamey. Earlier this morning, he took some pictures of the bird activity in our back yard. We've been working on making in welcoming to the many feathered visitors and among them was a yellow-headed blackbird. Really dramatic plummage, particularly when seen in the pecan tree!
Since Belinda had been working most of the day in Big Spring, we met in Odessa for supper. Sure was nice to unwind in the "big city!"
