After yesterday's rain we thought we were in for a pleasant autumn day. We eventually got one, but not before a good bit of rain in the morning.
We set out early this morning, bound for Cape Breton at the east end of Nova Scotia. There was so much to see, we didn't even scratch the surface!
We enjoyed a visit to the Celtic Heritage Interpretive Centre in Judique, taking in the nice museum and sitting in for a spell of the afternoon Ceilidh.
We made a foray along the coast, stopping for lunch at The Red Shoe Pub in Mabou. This was recommended to us in part because it is owned by members of The Rankin Family, a well-known Celtic music group.
