With so much to see and do on PEI, we decided to focus on three stops that featured Anne of Green Gables.
We first went to Cavendish and then on a self-guided tour of the Green Gables Heritage Centre. This was the location that inspired the stories by L. M. Montgomery.
We then set off, making our way to the author's birthplace and then on to Silver Bush where we just missed the Anne of Green Gables Museum.
All and all it was a special day of sights that make the smallest of Canada's provinces so special. We returned to the cottage via way of the Confederation Bridge.
