Belinda decided to stay at the cottage in the afternoon to rest and get some reading done. Charles in the meanwhile decided to venture out and take in some more of the Nova Scotia experience.

First up for Charles was a visit to the Joggins Fossil Cliffs, a UNESCO Heritage site, "Where the world-famous Bay of Fundy exposes a 300-million-year-old story."

Lunch at the fabulous Wild Caraway Bistro in Advocate was next before setting off to see the Bay of Fundy. Charles found a perfect spot to take in this amazing UNESCO site, the Cape d'Or Lighthouse

Finishing off his time was a visit to the Age of Sail Centre, a witness to the enormous ship building that took place there well into the 20th century!
