Before leaving Kerrville behind us, we stopped for worship at their First United Methodist Church. If the other four worship services they offer on Sunday were like the one we attended, it is easy to understand why they are growing! The cookies they share with guests is a particularly nice touch!
We were pleasantly surprised to see our District Superintendent, the Rev. Larry Altman and his wife Patty there. They were visiting their son, to celebrate his birthday. He is the Rev. Ray Altman, associate pastor at that church.
