Making our way west on I-10, we stopped in Junction for lunch at a local Mexican eatery. We did spot something unusual in Junction: a "tree" made out of deer antlers! Something Bob Phillips just might mention on his show "The Texas Country Reporter!!!"
When we arrived in McCamey, you could have knocked us over with a feather when we spotted a couple we had just said goodbye to at Escondida! David and Lynn Purdy (and their little dog, Buddy) were passing through town and stopped by the parsonage long enough to see Charles' button collection.
