Being a weather forcaster in west Texas must be a tad dull at times: "clear sky and hot! Tune in tomorrow!"
Today was much the same as yesterday, and tomorrow looks about the same: 100F plus!
Belinda returned to a full day of work today, getting the new Wellness Center up-and-running, don't you know!
Charles spent part of the morning taking communion to the residents of the Crane Nursing & Rehab Center. The UMC pastor in Crane is attending her Annual Conference session (New Mexico), and Charles stepped in to offer a service for the appreciative people in Crane.
On his way back to McCamey, Charles stopped at a nursery where he spotted this pretty butterfly taking a break from the heat. In McCamey, the variety of plants that can thrive in the arid conditions is amazing. He took the bottom picture in front of the post office.
