What amazing weather was in store for us on our first full day on Florida's Suncoast! We got our day started with a visit to a furniture consignment store in Clearwater (just curious about what they had) and then to the Cokesbury store to stock up on some supplies for the return to the parish next month.
We noticed a huge tree near the Cokesbury store with a plaque in front of it. It turns out that this particular tree was a Camphor Tree and is a great example of preserving natural wonders in an urban environment.
We returned to Charles' mother's home in Dunedin and went with her and her husband, Tom to lunch. We went to The Galley, a nice place with some really yummy food! We heard on the news tonight that this part of Florida is in for some rainy and chilly weather over the next couple of days. Good thing we got out when we could!!!
