Sunday in San Angelo (TX)

After the chilly weather of the past few days, today was nothing short of spectacular! It was in the mid-60's and sunny in the afternoon!

We attended church at Sierra Vista UMC where Belinda's mother attends regularly. The service was very nice and the decorations for Advent/Christmas were really well done.

The afternoon in San Angelo was given over to exploring the offerings of the Old Fort Concho Christmas. Held on the grounds of the frontier cavalry fort, this event was a real treat. With re-enactors, demonstrations of skills and crafts, and lots of amazing vendors, this was a lot of fun! (Note: The last picture is of a delightful couple whom we had the distinct pleasure of meeting at the fort, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Keeney. Mr. Keeney is a master craftsman, a woodworker ... truly inspired by God. To see some of his marvelous creations, you can go to his website: Message in Mesquite and Other Woods. We really love his Trinity Cross!)
