Baking in West Texas!

We are baking in another hot, hot, Texas day! It was 108F mid-afternoon and the breeze only served to stir up the stiffling air. But that didn't stop us from enjoying the day! In the morning, we were busy at Mo's home, helping to hang pictures and mirrors in her patio home. It makes all the difference and Mo is pleased with the results!

In the afternoon, Charles and Belinda made their way about 18 miles south of San Angelo to the small village of Christoval where we stopped to share the best fajitas anywhere at Hildago's. Then we made our way to the Brown Ranch just outside of the village and the famous "Hummer House." While a beautiful area in its own right, the Brown Ranch is home to thousands of hummingbirds including serving as the summer home to Texas' largest concentration of breeding Black-chinned Hummingbirds.

While we were there, we also saw five other types of hummingbirds, as well as Painted Buntings, Scarlet Tanagers, Cardinals, Inca Doves, a number of finches and many, many more species of birds.

Check out the Hummer House website and if you can, make the journey to Christoval, you'll be glad you did!

I don't know how to fix it, but getting rid of everything _before_ www.hummerhouse.com is what you are trying for.
Enjoy, it is 71.1 degrees with thunder in the area..
