The unrelenting heat continues to bear down on west Texas though the weather lady on TV last night said it wasn't as bad as all that (paraphrase!). It's after 9pm as Charles types this and it is still over 90F!!!

 

This morning, Charles emerged long enough to get in nine holes at the municipal course downtown. The course is interesting if for no other reason than the ground squirrels (we called them chipmunks back east) that have burrows on nearly every fairway. In the meanwhile, Belinda and Mo ran errands all about town.
